DESCRIPTION:FLINTA Football Tournament\nTake part in this 1-day friendly tournament\, make new football-loving FLINTA & Queer friends\, and stick around for drinks and BBQ! \nDate: Sunday July 14\nTime: 12 – 5pm\nLocation: Footy Park Amsterdam\nWho: All football-loving FLINTA and Queer folk* are welcome (18+). Please read the disclaimer at the bottom of the page before joining! \nSign Up here \nTournament Set-Up\nThis tournament will be a bit different than others – we don’t have team entries! Sign up as an individual and you’ll be assigned on a team by the organisers. If you have a friend you’d like to play with\, you can mention it on the form. We chose this format to encourage making new friends in the community – which also can be more fun and full of surprises 🙂 \nFormat\n5v5 tournament\, playing the Footy rules (info will be emailed to you when you register)\n20 minute matches\n6-7 players per team \nVolunteer referee’s – you can also sign up to ref! \nThe spirit of this tournament is about positive sportsmanship and fun competition\, while celebrating our queerness & diversity through football. Moving away from gendered sport categories\, we’ve instead created 3 level-based categories to make sure everyone can participate: \n1. Beginner\n2. Intermediate\n3. Advanced \nWhatever level you are in football\, we encourage you to play! Our hope is to have 3 separate categories\, but depending on the sign-ups we may need to mix. We aim to ensure everyone will play at least 2-3 games\, possibly more if your team advances to the final rounds. We will do our best to ensure the teams are created as fair as possible and there is minimal waiting time between games! \nTeams will be finalised and sent by July 7th so make sure to fill out the form before that date to ensure you have a spot! \nWhat’s Included\nEach tournament participant will receive 1 of Louie’s famously delicious BBQ wraps (chicken OR vegan option) that you definitely don’t want to miss out on! Our venue partner\, Footy Amsterdam\, has the PERFECT setup to enjoy drinks & food on the terrace\, while watching the matches. Invite your friends to cheer you along and enjoy the (hopefully) sunny day with a cold beverage – the Footy bar will be open all day! DESCRIPTION:Queer Pride and Sports creëert met Queer Fest een inclusieve omgeving waar mensen samenkomen en zichzelf kunnen zijn. Dit jaar staat het creëren van ‘safer-spaces’ centraal. We geloven in de kracht van eten\, sport en muziek als bindende elementen die onze LHBTIQAP+ gemeenschappen versterken en vriendschappen smeden. Pride and Sports organiseert de Zaterdag zowel voor urban sports als ook reguliere sporten en activiteiten\, begeleid door ervaringsdeskundigen. Of je nu een doorgewinterde sporter bent of gewoon zin hebt om iets nieuws te proberen\, bij ons kun je je hart ophalen. We bieden een breed scala aan sporten waar je actief aan kunt deelnemen. Of je nu hier bent om je passies te delen\, nieuwe mensen te ontmoeten of gewoon een geweldige tijd te hebben\, je bent van harte welkom! \n \nDit jaar staat het creëren van ‘safer-spaces’ centraal. Op het asfalt in de ‘Urban Sports Zone’ van het Museumplein laten we showcases zien van verschillende sporten Aan het begin van de middag zijn er workshops voor verschillende leeftijden\, van kinderen tot volwassenen. Daarna zijn er safe-space jams. We nodigen hier alle ‘allies’ in de urban community uit voor deze jams. Zo maken we een gezamenlijk statement dat de straat van iedereen is en de urban lifestyle inclusief sporten omarmt. Je wordt altijd begeleid door ervaringsdeskundigen die je met open armen verwelkomen. \nAanwezige Urban Sports:\nskateboarden\, 3×3 basketball\, stepping\, (bouldering)\, free-run\, roller skate\, breakdance\, calisthenics \nOp het gras van het Museumplein presenteren diverse Regenboog- sportverenigingen\, -groepen en -collectieven zich met workshops aan de community en word je uitgenodigd deel te nemen en kennis te maken met diverse sporten. \nAanwezige Regenboog Sporten:\nRugby\, tafeltennis\, jeu de boules\, latin dance\, voetbal\, zelfverdediging / krav maga\, badminton pickleball\, volleybal\, fitness\, (kick)boksen\, handbal \nKom langs\, beweeg mee\, doe mee en ontdek de energie en verbondenheid die Queer Pride and Sports te bieden heeft. \nCreating Safer-Spaces is a TEAM effort!
